Wherever you are
Helping families across Western Sydney
Western Sydney is home to many of Sydney's families: young and old, long-established and newly arrived, from every background and culture. A separation brings the same worries to all of them: the home, the children, the money, and what happens next.
We are a direct train ride away in the city. And because many families here have busy work and school runs, we make it easy to get advice by video or phone, at a time that suits you.
What we help with
What Western Sydney families ask us about
The family home and the mortgage
Can one of you keep the house? Can you afford to buy the other out? What happens to the mortgage? See property settlement.
Children's arrangements
Where the children live, how time is shared, schools, and how to handle holidays and special occasions. See children and parenting.
Child support
Making sure the costs of raising the children are shared fairly, including when a parent's income changes. See child support.
Family and cultural considerations
Many families have relatives overseas, extended family who help with the children, or cultural and religious traditions that matter. Good arrangements respect all of these.
Safety
If you are experiencing family violence, you do not have to deal with it alone. See family violence and AVOs.
