Frequently asked
Before you get in touch
What should I bring to my first consultation?
Whatever you have to hand: a summary of your assets and debts, details of any trusts or companies, any agreements or court documents, and a note of the key dates: when you married or started living together, and when you separated. Do not delay the meeting to gather more.
Can I have a consultation without my spouse knowing?
Yes. Your consultation is confidential and protected by legal professional privilege. Tell us how and when it is safe to contact you, and we will communicate only in that way.
Do you offer video consultations?
Yes. Consultations can be held in person at our office, by secure video, or by phone. Many clients combine formats over the course of their matter.
What if my matter is urgent?
Call us on 02 9145 5266. If you have a court date approaching, a child may be removed from your care or from Australia, or assets are about to be sold or moved, we will prioritise your matter. If you are in immediate danger, call 000.
